An Evil Heart

The latest Amish mystery from Linda Castillo. Aside from Dr Robert Hunter (Chris Carter), Kate Burkholder is my favourite fictional character.

This time she has a gruesome murder on her hands. One that many are unable to believe possible. And she is only days away from her marriage to John Tomasetti.

The victim is a young Amish man, who by all accounts is loved by everyone, so finding a motive is difficult. But things aren't exactly as they seem as they move through the investigation.

To complicate matters there is a second murder which seems entirely unrelated, or is it?

As usual, difficult to put down and another brilliant novel.
