With a gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket and two half-read tomes on my bedside table, I was on the hunt for something light and fantastical - this was it! A dream-like story that takes it's time, though at times, too much.

A relatable, anxious, everyday lead comes into an unexpected inheritance. Travel, journaling, magic portals to parallel lands... what more could you want? Only a more believable explanation for how the Fey could have read Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.
