A story about four friends - Maggie, Liz, Helena & Joni.
They lace up their hiking boots for the adventure of a lifetime over four days on a hike in the Norwegian wilderness – a far cry from their usual getaway involves lounging around a pool.
It’s the perfect place to forget about everything – their past and their secrets.
They’ve heard about a missing girl who looks mysteriously like one of them - Maggie. On arrival at the lodge several locals look strangely at her as if they've seen a ghost.
They set off and Liz can't bear to tell the others that they've been warned off their trek on account of the weather.
As a group they really have no idea what they have gotten themselves into and as the days go on secrets are revealed and tempers fray.
They find themselves at the mercy of the weather and while sheltering in a cave come across lobster pots of drugs. The problems continue and it becomes hard to know who to trust when help starts to arrive.
A mix between a survival thriller and a murder mystery.
Very difficult to put down.
