Three Single Wives

Three women - Anne, Eliza and Penny. It starts as a simple book club meeting. By the end of the night a husband is dead. But we retrace our steps to 9 months before.

Anne is married to Mark and the mother to his four children. Life is difficult looking after the family and not necessarily looking after herself. She also has suspicions about her husband.

Eliza has lost her job and decides she will form her own PR business. She is married to Roman, the lecturer.

Penny is young and has moved to Hollywood in search of a dream. But things aren't quite so rosie and she falls for the handsome Roman who is her lecturer. She also soon finds work looking after Anne's children.

The chapters are interlaced with transcripts from a trial - setting the scene for who has been murdered and who is the most likely to have committed the crime.
